DUE TO INSURANCE LIABILITY AND SANITATION CODES, WE WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO ALLOW GUESTS TO USE THE COMMERCIAL KITCHEN IN THE LODGE EITHER FOR COOKING OR FOR ANY TYPE OF FOOD SERVICE OR STORAGE .
Riverhouse guests, as always, will be able to have complete use of the kitchen facilities there.

Food Services at the Lodge and Surrounding Area

Although breakfast is included with your overnight accommodations rate, Your other meals are as much a concern to us as they are to you so here are some options:

Area restaurants

There are three very nice "Montana style"  style restaurants in the local area within 15 minutes of the Lodge that offer great food at reasonable prices. 

The resort town of Sandpoint, Idaho is one hour’s drive from the lodge. Here you have a larger selection but a longer drive. This may sit well with the gals because Sandpoint is home to  the Coldwater Creek clothing store chain, and other interesting shops. Also, skiing in the winter may take you to Schweitzer Mountain Ski resort almost directly above Sandpoint.

In the nearby town of Hope, Idaho, there are a few local restaurants. One in particular, is the Floating Restaurant, which is exactly what it’s name implies and offers delicious food in a comfortable setting. While "floating" on Lake Pend Orielle, you can dine while relaxing outdoors, taking in a beautiful sunset over the mountains!

With advance notice we will prepare dinner meals for Lodge guests.  
Our dinner pricing ranges from $25.00 to $45.00, depending on the type of meal you choose.
17% gratuity will be added.
